My professional journey began as a Graphic Designer in print marketing over a 25 years ago. There was a pivotal moment when my manager, approached me with an opportunity to assume responsibility for the company's website and learn HTML.
Over the past seven years, my primary focus has been on UX Design. In December 2022, I expanded my product design knowledge by obtaining certification from MIT Sloan Executive Education in "Mastering Design Thinking."
Designing for a healthcare analytics platform sparked my interest in data visualization. This passion persisted in my following role as UX Designer for a commercial real estate analytics platform.
In spring 2021, I achieved a milestone by earning a certification in Infographics & Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design, enhancing my expertise in the field.
I served as a designer and front-end developer until 2016, at which point I made a choice to pivot my career towards UX design. Over the years, I've observed the rapid evolution of front-end development, and I've been diligent in keeping myself aware of the latest methodologies and trends.
My background in both design and front-end development has proven to be a valuable asset in my approach to providing design solutions and collaborating effectively with engineering teams.
